English Language

English Language Form One has been comprehensively written to meet the needs of Secondary School students in Tanzania. It covers English Language competencies for Form One students as prescribed in the Revised Syllabus 2023. The author has used simple language to enhance the student‟s understanding of each chapter. The language and depth of the coverage of each chapter reflect the student‟s level. The book has illustrations, activities, exercises and revision questions that enable the student to be familiar with the targeted competencies. Generally, this book is an important resource for both teachers and students. However, teachers are encouraged to adapt participatory teaching techniques to inculcate positive attitudes in pupils towards the English Language.
